We want to share an update of week one as we launched our initiative to help with the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) shortage. It was truly a team effort, coordinated carefully across the team with health and safety in mind; only essential infrastructure and human resources are in place to complete our initial plant retooling and production.
Normally a team of nearly 100 people, today we are running a split crew and multiple shifts to keep the initiative operating and our people safe.
We were able to create more than 1,000 PPE face shields in week one and put them in the hands of our heroes in need. Along the journey, we were honored to meet some of the incredible people from the front lines.
Please meet some of those heroes:
This is Errol Raymond of Tulane Health System and Josh Taylor of MediaBlink Dee Dee Blake of St Joseph of Harahan Brian Perez of Bayside Healthcare Center and Joshua Taylor of MediaBlink
Tony Bigting of University Medical Center New Orleans and Benny Burst of MediaBlink.

A donation of 100 protective face shields is prepped for shipment to Children’s Hospital Detroit.

250 donation face shields headed to University Medical Center / LCMC Health.

We would like also to thank NBC-affiliate Channel 6 WDSU for stopping by earlier today.
