MediaBlink | Week 2 Summary – The Fight Continues as MediaBlink Ramps Up Face Shield Capacities

Week 2 Summary:

During week 2 we provided over 5,000 face shields to essential entities in need through Project Shield Our Heroes. Most of these face shield were distributed locally to hospitals and other medical facilities but some traveled much farther. The overwhelming demand of face shields made for an extremely busy week to keep our heroes protected with the proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

We started week one manufacturing a few hundred face shields a day and now we are hammering out well over 2,000 shields per shift and are running 2 shifts a day.

Through Project Shield Our Heroes, we have had many generous donors stand by us in this endeavor and many more are stepping up to be a part of this daily.
