NEW ORLEANS — Local company Mediablink manufactures face shields for health care workers and first responders.
Thousands have been donated to local hospitals and nursing homes.
Faculty at the LSU School of Dentistry also made face shields using a 3-D printer. They have donated them to various health care workers. The faculty is working on making a face mask with N-99 filtration which may kill 99% of bacteria from passing through.
